With oeko-tex certified cotton, you as a consumer can make sure that the product has been tested for harmful substances. It is not to see or feel if there are harmful chemicals in the clothes and only a few chemicals disappear after washing. Our cotton is free of harmful substances because there are many alternatives and harmless chemicals and methods that manufacturers use instead of the harmful substances.
Tips for washing cotton
Cotton opens at high temperatures and therefore has the best of being washed at 95 degrees, so that the soapy water can rinse through the fiber and remove the dirt in the cotton. However, it is important to read the washing instructions! It is different what the individual cotton product can withstand at maximum temperature. We have made this easy for you, so that you can see washing instructions on all our fabrics.
Cotton can withstand both pressing, rolling, cleaning fluids and ironing at high temperatures - but not higher than 200 degrees.
